Various partners help to realize the objectives of the PILGRIM project and complement the consortium.
Scientific Partners
CONCORD
Concord is another FP7 project, coordinated by the University Medical Center Utrecht. It addresses the genetic and physiologicl explanation fo the ecological success in the communit and the farm environment of community- and farm-associated MRSA in contrast to hospital-associated MRSA in order to faciliate the rationale and development of effective strategies against community- and farm-associated MRSA.
As the PILGRIM and CONCORD projects show synergies between their research, both consortia have agreed to exchange existing knowledge and to share new findings.
Exploitation Partners
Danish Meat
Under the name Danish Meat Association (DMA) the three major meat organisations the Danish Bacon & Meat Council (Danske Slagterier), the Danish Livestock and Meat Board (Kødbranchens Fællesråd) and the Danish Poultry Council (Det Danske Fjerkræraad) joined technical and administrative expertise in a new body. The formation of DMA provides a strong meat and processing sector, politically and technically, as well as better total capacity.
EFSA
The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) is the keystone of European Union (EU) risk assessment regarding food and feed safety. In close collaboration with national authorities and in open consultation with its stakeholders, EFSA provides independent scientific advice and clear communication on existing and emerging risks.
Dissemination Partners
The Exploitation & Dissemination Panel – an advisory body that ensures the maximum use of the project results includes besides consortium members also the following external experts:
